A quieter kind of progress.
Release notes come from the product’s canonical changelog. Unreleased entries describe development work, not a public installer.
0.1.12
- Dictate into a remote desktop: in Jump Desktop, Microsoft's Windows App, Screen Sharing and similar apps, Sayvanta pastes your words on the other computer. Text with line breaks stays on the clipboard for you to paste.
- Settings › License: when a license is suspended, revoked or deactivated, you can enter a different key and Sayvanta switches to it in one step. Dates that no longer apply are hidden.
0.1.11
- Sayvanta now includes the licenses of the open-source software it's built with. They're also listed at sayvanta.com/notices.
0.1.10
- Settings › License shows how long updates are included with a one-time purchase, with a Renew updates button: a renewal adds one year of updates to the same license key, at any time.
- Before Sayvanta installs an update, it checks that your license includes it. A one-time purchase includes every version released within its update period; subscriptions include every update while they are paid.
0.1.7
- Dictate into any app: press your shortcut, or hold a key such as Right Option, and your words appear where your cursor is.
- A guided start: drag Sayvanta into Applications, then a short setup takes you through your license, microphone, shortcut, speech model and optional AI cleanup, with a private practice.
- Speech recognition runs on your Mac with Whisper, Nemotron and Parakeet models. Sayvanta picks one that suits your Mac, or you choose; models download only when you ask.
- Speak several languages: choose the ones you use and Sayvanta recognizes which one you speak.
- Optional on-device AI cleanup removes filler words and repetitions, with a writing style per app, such as Polished in email and Literal in your code editor.
- Your dictionary, voice snippets and spoken casing commands for developers.
- A scratchpad for typed or dictated notes, searchable history with playback, and insights built only from your own use.
- Privacy controls: Incognito, per-app exclusions and your choice of what history and audio are kept. Your speech and text are processed on your Mac and never uploaded.
- An always-visible pill shows when Sayvanta listens; hover over it for quick actions.
- Your latest dictations and notes are one click away: open the recent strip from the pill or the menu bar item and copy one with a click or a number key.
- Quitting finishes the dictation in progress, and outside Incognito a recording interrupted by a crash can be recovered.
- The app speaks 14 languages, is signed and notarized by Apple, and updates itself with signed updates; you can also check for one from the menu bar item.
- Activate with your `SV-` license key; Sayvanta keeps working offline for up to 30 days between license checks.
