Automatic selects among compatible models already installed on your computer. Choose your speech language and review model memory requirements. No model is downloaded just because Automatic would prefer it.

The app needs to identify the intended text field and deliver text to it. On macOS this uses Accessibility access. Protected, changed or unsupported fields may require manual paste.

The completed text stays available for recovery. The native path avoids automatically repeating an uncertain edit. Check the target before pasting again so you do not duplicate text.

Yes. You can disable history, change retention or use incognito. Audio retention is a separate opt-in. Context categories and per-app exclusions have their own controls.

Your purchase page, in the browser where you checked out, can show your key for seven days. After that, or from another browser, contact support with your purchase reference. Support can issue a replacement key; the old key then stops working, so deactivate it in Settings → License before activating the new one.
